Miranda, the Capital District and Yaracuy were the three states that reported new cases of covid-19 in the country in the recent day. While only 13 registered internally, 32 patients arrived infected with the disease from various countries
The Minister of Communication and Information, Freddy Ñáñez, published in his social networks the statistics corresponding to the behavior of covid-19 in Venezuela during the day of Monday, November 28, 2022, in which 45 new infections were recorded, of which 13 were registered within the country.
Community cases were reported in three of the 24 federal entities of the national territory with Miranda leading the short list by reporting six new infections in three of its 21 municipalities: Plaza (4), Guaicaipuro (1) and Chacao (1).
Miranda was followed by the Capital District (5) and Yaracuy (2).
On the other hand, Zulia, Táchira, Mérida, Trujillo, Falcón, Lara, Portuguesa, Cojedes, Apure, Barinas, Amazonas, Guárico, Carabobo, Aragua, Vargas, Anzoátegui, Monagas, Delta Amacuro, Bolívar, Nueva Esparta and Sucre did not report new cases in the last 24 hours.
Regarding the 32 “imported” infections, which were addressed by health personnel at the Simón Bolívar International Airport in Maiquetía, they arrived on flights from Turkey (8), Spain (8), Panama (7), Dominican Republic (6) and Colombia (3).

The statistics published by Minister Ñáñez on the day of November 28, 2022 increased the total number of covid-19 cases that Venezuela reports daily. In this sense, 988 days after the detection of the first infections on March 13, 2020, a total of 547,396 and 540,476 recovered patients are reported, which according to official data represents 99% of overcoming the disease.
Currently, there are 1,092 active cases of covid-19 in the country according to the figures released by the authorities, of which 30 are treated in the public network of hospitals; 40 in Comprehensive Diagnostic Centers (CDI), 20 in private clinics and 1,002 people who are in home isolation or “supervised community care”.
Of the total of 1,092 active cases of the virus registered in the country, 751 are due to asymptomatic patients; 202 to those with mild respiratory failure; 87 with moderate breathing problems and 52 who are hospitalized in Intensive Care Units due to the complexity of their condition due to covid-19.
Minister Freddy Ñáñez indicated that on Monday, November 28, 2022, no new deaths were registered as a result of covid-19, so the number of deaths remained stable at 5,827.
