The Dominican Popular Bank reported that the twenty-seventh edition of the Popular Auto Fair will offer the most competitive fixed rates in the market: 9.75% for six months; 10.75% at 12 months; 12.75% to two years; 13.75% at three years; 14.95% for five years and a special fixed rate for hybrid and electric vehicles from 7.75% for six months. Used vehicles will also enjoy special financing conditions.
This new version continues after a successful Popular Auto Fair Season, which began on October 7 with commercial promotions, actions and experiences to provide customers with the benefits of the fair and that they could request their vehicles. This period has reaped very successful results.
Now, in the coming days of the fair, customers have the benefit of financing up to 90% of the value of the vehicle with a term of up to 7 years to pay off the loan, beginning to pay in January.
In addition, they can request this loan from multiple channels: the Autoferiapopular.com.do web portal, the Autoferia Popular app, the branches of the financial institution and authorized distributors throughout the country, with an agile application approval process.
The hours for authorized dealers and dealers will be from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. from Tuesday, November 29, to Friday, December 2; from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday the 3rd and from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday the 4th, the date on which this edition of the Popular Auto Fair ends.

45 models of eco vehicles
During this twenty-seventh version of the Popular Auto Fair, customer participation will be stimulated through raffles for prizes that will cover up to RD$150,000 of the initial cost of the car, the launch of new vehicle units and the offer of 45 eco-vehicle models, which means the largest offer of ecological units to date.
In continuity with this promotion of sustainable mobility, the owners of the first 100 electric vehicles purchased during the Popular Auto Fair will obtain free recharges through Evergo stations, discounts to install a residential charger, as well as offers for detailed care of the vehicles.
Also, thanks to the alliance between the Autoferia Popular and Seguros Universal, customers who purchase a car during the fair will enjoy an increase in coverage. As a special benefit, the first 350 customers will obtain certificates of special insurance for pets, electronic equipment, travel or home that they can choose according to their preference.
Activation of the automotive sector
During the launch event of the twenty-seventh edition of the Popular Auto Fair before representatives of the media, the Executive Vice President of Personal Businesses and Branches, Mr. Francisco Ramírez, highlighted the importance of this automotive platform and its ability to activate the automotive market.
“Since its inception, in 1998, the Autofair has been the spearhead for the introduction of new technologies that have contributed to the renewal of the country’s vehicle fleet, modernizing it and making it safer, more efficient and sustainable,” stressed the bank executive.
The event was attended by the main dealers in the country gathered in the Association of Vehicle Manufacturers Dealers (Acofave) and the United Group of the Automotive Industry of the Dominican Republic (GUIA-RD), traditional allies of the Popular Auto Fair.
