The Conagua-dependent SMN also forecast very heavy rains in Chiapas and Oaxaca; strong in areas of Campeche, Guerrero, Quintana Roo, Tabasco, Veracruz and Yucatán; intervals of showers in Mexico City, the State of Mexico and Puebla, as well as isolated rains in Baja California, Colima, Jalisco, Michoacán, Morelos and Tamaulipas.
Because the rains could be accompanied by electric shocks, strong winds, and hailstorms, and generate landslides, increased levels of rivers and streams, overflows, and flooding in low-lying areas of the mentioned states, the population of the affected states is recommended to continue the recommendations of the Civil Protection and state authorities.
