Pointing without fear at the police officers who would be extorting him and with $10 million pesos in his hands, this is how a man identified as Daniel appears in one of the videos revealed by the authorities and in which he denounces two uniformed men who would be ‘scamming’ him, in the municipality of Villagarzón, Putumayo.
The victim of the embarrassing case is a merchant in the area.
According to what was narrated and documented in the video, the victim’s vehicle was seized, where he had several boxes of cigarettes for sale; according to the authorities, all with legal documentation and order.
The merchant stated that there were at least three uniformed men who had taken the car and the merchandise for no reason.
Stating that in order to deliver what belongs to him, he had to deliver the sum of $15 million.
They asked the victim for $15 million, he came up with 10.
“They kept the boxes from me and they had our car seized since last night,” the victim revealed to the uniformed officer who had discovered the anomaly of his colleagues.
The merchant explained that he was not lying, he had evidence in his possession: audios, telephone calls, videos, photographs and other records with which the authorities could verify the crime.
Despite everything, the two uniformed men kept stating that everything was false.

After making the case public, the police headquarters in the region confirmed that they received the evidence carried out by the complainant.
