Camacho: "Let’s hope that the senators are up to the task and can approve the law as soon as possible"

Luis Fernando Camacho doubts of the predisposition of the MAS to approve the Population and Housing Census Law that will be debated in the Senate for its approval.

The governor He said that he hopes that the authorities of the government party do not put obstacles in the debate and the approval of the law is achieved in the Upper House, given that the document has already been approved in the Chamber of Deputies.

In accordance with the legislative procedure, the presidency of The Chamber of Senators will receive the approved law on Monday by more than two thirds of the votes of the deputies at dawn on Saturday, after which it must call an ordinary session to refer the norm to the Constitution Commission, chaired by Senator Patricia Arce.

“Let’s hope that the senators are up to the task and they can approve the law as soon as possible, because that is the mandate of the people of Santa Cruz; As they did in the Chamber of Deputies, let us hope that it will be the same in the Senate. The Committee has given a fourth intermission because there is that doubt of the MAS, which has no word,” Camacho said.

The authority announced that, from this Monday, work will begin on the search for notable people that will make up the commission that will evaluate the economic, political and social relationship of Santa Cruz with the Bolivian State.

Likewise, he minimized the criticism by government authorities of the mobilization in Santa Cruz.
