This was one of the main conclusions of the most recent report on migration and integration challenges, prepared by the Universidad del Rosario, through its Observatory of Venezuela, and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS).
According to the study, “it will be essential to guarantee the continuity” of this program since it is a mechanism that “enhances migration as a force for development by reducing irregularity and informality and its negative impacts on the quality of life”.
It is important to mention that, according to a study on the perception of the migrant population in the country, 77% of Venezuelan citizens know the figure of the PPT and, within these, 65% already own it.
In fact, within this percentage that already has the document, 71% rate it as a “very good” tool.

Regarding demography, this report specified that 62% of migrants Venezuelans plan to stay in the country indefinitely.
Finally, according to the survey estimate, there are 726,301 irregular migrants in the country, in addition to the 2,342,907 million who already live in the country.
Among the final points that the study highlighted, it also stands out to reinforce and expand public policies with a gender approach; a comprehensive policy for returned Colombians and achieve socio-economic and productive integration.
