Bolivia reports 3,381 cases, 1,279 are from La Paz

After several weeks, Bolivia takes a break. This Sunday reported 3,381 cases of the new coronavirus. However, La Paz reported the highest number of the day after detecting 1,279 infections.

“The new infections this day are: Santa Cruz 575, Cochabamba 573, La Paz 1,279, Chuquisaca 218, Tarija 206, Potosí 142, Oruro 293, Beni 83 and Pando 12,” reads a bulletin from the Ministry of Health.

In the last 24 hours, the death of 22 people due to illness was lamented, when the fatality rate reaches 0.6%.

Health also highlighted that Bolivia is close to half a thousand immunized children in the age group between 5 and 11 years old, while 664,027 adolescents between 12 and 17 years old received their vaccine, both in first doses.
