Santo Domingo – The Mayor of the Santo Domingo Oeste Municipality urged young people to prepare and continue studying in order to achieve their dreams and goals.
José Andújar assured that the only way we can build a fairer society is with better citizens, so the present generations must prepare themselves in values, knowledge and principles.
The mayor spoke in those terms when participating in the second graduation of the Dr. Carmen Pereyra Foundation, in front of the young graduates.
Likewise, the Municipal Executive said that every time he participates in this type of event, he evokes my emotional memory as a student, “what motivates them to continue acquiring knowledge and that is power that will help them achieve their dreams, their goals and objectives, so they can progress and I am a living example, “he said.

This is the second graduation of the Dr. Carmen Pereyra Foundation, in coordination with the National Institute of Technical Training (INFOTEP) and they were given on Saturdays in the halls of the Madre Rafaela Ybarra Polytechnic.
On this occasion, 68 students graduated from different training specialties, among which are secretarial, office packages, decoration, among others.
Also present at the event were the president of the foundation, representing the Ministry of Education, Roberto Díaz Alcántara, the director of Educational District 15-05, Félix Antonio Monción, representing the Llirandy Robles Polytechnic, Flamery Francisca from INFOTEP, Councilor Luis Ernesto Díaz Filpo, relatives of the graduates and the general public.
