Although he had messages of affection, many did not find the image or the message of Vargas Lleras cute or funny.

A photo with the puppies of his dog Mancho was taken by former Vice President Vargas Lleras, and that has sparked a whole political debate and about the adoption of pets.

Colombian News.

Former vice president Germán Vargas Lleras has been showered with criticism, complaints and the occasional ‘nice’ message because he is already a ‘dog grandfather’, and it is that his photo with the puppies of his dog Mancho have sparked controversy.

The former presidential candidate, and member of the Cambio Radical party, said on Twitter that his dog had already “found a girlfriend” and already had children.

Jokingly, he wrote: “Now busily looking for work.”

Many did not find the image or the message of Vargas Lleras cute or funny.

Some have reported that “he wants to pose as a human”, others point out, “not everyone who has dogs and loves them is a good person”, some more wrote: “Has the campaign started?” for the Mayor of Bogota.

A few did decide to write him messages of affection for his dog Mancho and his now five children. Some even asked for puppies for adoption, or even to buy them.

And it is that the issue of buying pets was also the target of criticism.

Former Vice President Vargas Lleras is claimed to have put “his dog to procreate without any need.”

They have dismissed it as irresponsible, noting that it should better help “give a message of responsible adoption and sterilization.”
