Colombia reported 26,087 new infections of covid-19, this Sunday. The positives resulted from analyzing 68,610 tests (37,809 for PCR and 30,801 for antigens).

The country already accumulates a total of 5,740,179 infections in a year and 10 months. In addition, the samples that have been processed in all that time have been 31,648,769.
Of the total cases, as of January 23, 5,441,021 infections had been overcome. And 147,398 positives are still active.

Bogotá (1,625,021), Antioquia (889,761), Valle del Cauca (519,987), Atlántico (381,879) and Cundinamarca (294,677), the areas of the country with the most historical cases.
And worldwide, the historical balance of infections is 350,436,349.

As to deaths, 217 new ones were reported in Colombia and the total number of deaths due to the pandemic rose to 132,240.
In the world, the death of 5,594,661 people has been registered.
Regarding vaccination, as of January 21, 69,789,455 doses have been applied in the country and 30,681,379 people have their complete vaccination schedule. Of booster doses, 5,038,247 have been applied.
