A passenger transportation truck that covered the route between Havana and Santiago de Cuba suffered an accident at dawn this Sunday on the outskirts of Bayamo, with a balance of 22 injured, according to local media reports.
The event occurred shortly before six in the morning in a place known as the Pru curve, one kilometer from the city of Bayamo, where the truck with registration number P083870 overturned, the causes of which are still unknown.
At least twenty-two people were injured in the incident and two of them are in serious condition at the Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Hospital in Bayamo, where they were immediately transferred. So far it has not been reported if all the injured people were traveling in the truck or if there are other vehicles involved in the accident.
