Carolina Foundation opened call for scholarships: know how to apply

The Caroline Foundation, dedicated to promoting cultural relations and educational cooperation between Spain and Latin America, launched the call for 594 postgraduate and doctoral scholarships aimed at Ibero-American students to complete their training in Spanish universities and study centers.

The scholarships for the 2022-2023 academic year have increased this edition by 100 compared to last year, incorporating 20 new graduate programs that encourage gender equality, health sciences, institutional strengthening and technological innovation, reported the Foundation.

In total they are called 236 postgraduate scholarships, 90 doctoral scholarships and short postdoctoral stays, 27 faculty mobility scholarships and 121 scholarships for institutional studies, to which are added 120 doctoral scholarship renewals.

All of them are part of the ‘Spanish Cooperation Scholarships’ program made up of the Fundación Carolina and the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (Aecid) scholarships, aligning their design with the Sustainable Development Goals and the 2030 Agenda.

Following the line marked by the Agenda, this edition of scholarships places special emphasis on fields such as urban sustainability, food security, psychological health or gender studies, the statement details.

The call for postgraduate scholarships and institutional studies will remain open until March, 15th, while that of the doctorate, short stays, and teacher mobility programs will be until April 7.

Candidates can find all the information regarding scholarships on the website of the Carolina Foundation from which applications are processed.

The Carolina Foundation offers scholarships and opportunities to students from all over Latin America since its creation in the year 2000, thus favoring scientific progress, institutional strengthening and social and educational equity.
