The project with a budget of 2,663 million pesoss of federal resources was won in bidding by the Doppelmayr consortium and Grupo INDI; Work started at the end of November and The project is expected to be ready in December 2023.
This will be the first public transport project during the Sheinbaum government focused on the west of the city, since during this administration investment has been concentrated in the east, says Ernesto Morua Ramírez, professor of Public Policies at the FES Aragón of the UNAM.
“The current administration has focused mainly on the east, with the Cablebús Line 2 and the Elevated Trolleybus projects that are very close, the west has not had an intervention by the current government so far,” he comments in an interview with Political Expansion.
