The Deliberative Council of the city of San Miguel de Tucumán approved this Friday the increase in public passenger transport, so that the minimum ticket will cost 84 pesos, and the lowering of the flag and tab of the taxis at 120 pesos and 12 pesos respectively.
Unanimously, the Deliberative Council approved the increase of a little more than 29% in the price of the ticket, which will cost from 65 to 84 pesos, starting next Monday.
While the taxi flag will increase from 90 to 120 pesos and the tab for every 100 meters traveled, which will rise from 9 to 12 pesos.
“No one likes to give raises, but it is necessary to sustain the source of work”said the president of the Transport Commission of the Council, José Luis Coronel, after the approval of the increase.
The previous rate hike took place in June.
