The elections will be held in nine regions of the country, because -in the October 2, 2022 elections- none of the candidates reached 30% of valid votes to be elected to the position of regional governor.
In this case, in accordance with the Regional Elections Law (Law 27683), the two formulas with the highest number of votes from each region go to ballot. It is worth clarifying that the list of directors is not going to a second round. Next, find out where to vote and avoid paying fines.
WHERE DO I HAVE TO VOTE IN THE SECOND ELECTION ROUND TO ELECT THE REGIONAL GOVERNORS?
To find out where you will have to vote, you must enter the link enabled by the ONPE to make the consultation. Follow these steps:
- Enter the ONPE web portal: https://consultaelectoral.onpe.gob.pe/ or click this LINK.
- Write your ID number.
- Click on “Query”.
- Your data will come out (names, surnames, ID, district) and you will be able to know where it is your turn to vote and if you were elected a member of the polling station.

On December 4, the Second Regional Election 2022 (SER 2022) will be held in nine regions. These are:

WHAT TIME SHOULD I GO TO VOTE?
One of the recommendations most spoken by specialists is the recommendation that the recommended voting hours are maintained, for the sake of order and to avoid contagion of COVID-19 due to the increase in cases in recent weeks. According to the last digit of the DNI, the suggested schedule is:
- If the ID ends in 1, 2, 3 and 4: it is recommended to go from 7 am to 11 am
- If the ID ends in 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 0: it is recommended to go from 11 am to 5 pm
- If the voter is in a risk group: it is recommended to go from 2 pm to 5 pm
