Dengue cases increase, more than 7 thousand are registered in the country

Panama maintains a record of 7,361 cases of dengue throughout the country, as revealed by the Ministry of Health (Minsa) through the report of week No 45 (ended on Saturday, November 12), provided by the Epidemiology department. .

The report highlights that of the total 6,620 cases are without warning signs, while 725 cases occurred with warning signs; 16 cases with serious cases and 4 deaths, the last one registered in San Francisco (Panama) in a 66-year-old patient.

Additionally, they highlight that the five (5) regions with the most cases of dengue at the national level are the metropolitan region of Health with 1,896 cases; North Panama with 1,342 cases; West Panama with 1,082 cases; Bocas del Toro with 813 cases and San Miguelito with 757 cases.
