On Friday, November 18, the SEMM Mautone Sanatorium in Punta del Este and the German Hospital in Buenos Aires presented their Binational Medical Plan, comprehensive medical coverage to provide their patients with access to health care in both cities.
Through this initiative, affiliates will be able to receive medical attention both in Uruguay and Argentina, indistinctly in the two institutions, recognized for their high quality services.
Gustavo Rodríguez, technical director of SEMM Mautone, indicated that this project is the product of a need that they observed and that they considered concretizing “quite a long time ago.” In the summer season, like the one that is coming, the massive arrival of Argentines is common, but “more and more” residents of that nationality are seen in the area, “and have health coverage that gives them peace of mind here or in Buenos Aires It’s very important.”
