According to a statement from the National Ballet of Cuba (BNC), on November 25 it will be presented in the hall of the Cultural Foundation of Abu Dhabi, capital of the United Arab Emirates.
Directed by the prima ballerina Viengsay Valdés, the program will include a unique function of the Don Quixote Suitewith artistic and choreographic direction of the cousin absolute ballerina Alicia Alonso. It was announced that Chavela Riera will act in the leading roles, as Kitri; Yasiel Hodelín, as Basilio, and Gabriela Druyet and Ányelo, as Mercedes and Espada, respectively.

In the second part of the presentation, the ballet will be staged Carmen with the dancers Anette Delgado in the central role; Dani Hernández, as Don José; Darío Hernández will be Escamillo, Daniela Gómez and Ányelo Montero will play the roles of Fate and Zúñiga.
