The company primax became the first in the industry in Peru to obtain the Icontec Sustainability Seal (Colombian Institute of Technical Standards and Certification) for its corporate strategy based on sustainability and good business practices.
The evaluation carried out by the international accreditation agency for energy multilatina places it in the “Evolution” category, highlighting Primax for its business initiatives in the dimensions of strategic direction, economy and ethics, society and the environment.
In its strategic dimension, the company has managed to develop a comprehensive vision by jointly managing the impacts of its operations in the country in the economic, environmental and social axes.
Having corporate governance guidelines, anti-corruption and anti-bribery policies and a focus on the client with responsibility for the products offered and the supply chain, allow the company to achieve an optimal score in the economic dimension evaluated by the certifier.
Similarly, in this evaluation, Primax managed to stand out for its corporate purpose with a focus on equity and equality of employees, talent development and projection to the most vulnerable community, such as work in favor of the Common Pots and support for the Volunteer Fire Company of Peru, among others.

Likewise, in its environmental dimension, the multilatina was certified for its commitment to responsible operations with the environment and the environment to guarantee the sustainability of the future. As part of this, Primax is a pioneer in the energy market by having fuels with TOP TIER standards that guarantee fewer polluting emissions.
In the middle of the year, the company managed to be recognized by the Carbon Footprint Program of the Ministry of the Environment of Peru, an entity that awarded it a star for the management of the inventory of greenhouse gas emissions during the year 2020.
