Uruguay registered this Saturday 11,033 new cases of coronavirus on a total of 29,915 tests, reported the National Emergency System (Sinae). The positivity rate was 36.8%, although duplicate tests are also included in some people (antigen and PCR).
What’s more, there were 19 deaths in the last 24 hours of patients with covid-19, who were between 59 and 96 years old. Of the total, 10 had not been immunized, seven had two doses and two of them had all three doses, according to information from the Ministry of Public Health to which he accessed The Observer.
Since the health emergency was declared on March 13, 2020, there have been 6,303 deaths diagnosed with the disease in Uruguay.
There are 73,986 active cases across the country and 104 people are in intensive care centers, according to the official report. Of the total positive cases, 256 correspond to the health personnel.
Of the 11,033 new cases, 5,385 were from Montevideo, 1,385 from Canelones, 766 from Maldonado, 389 from Rivera, 345 from Paysandú, 312 from Salto, 307 from Florida, 307 from San José, 265 from Tacuarembo, 218 from Colonia, 210 from Durazno, 208 from Cerro Largo, 204 from Soriano, 190 from Rocha, 151 from Artigas, 108 from Río Negro, 100 from Treinta y Tres, 95 from Flores and 88 from Lavalleja.
All departments report infected people this Saturday, and Montevideo leads in number of assets with 34,120. follow him cannelloni (9,382), Maldonado (6,551) and Rivera (2,942), among others.
