The Evaluation Commission appointed by the Ministry of Public Works (MOP) that was verifying the documentation for the prequalification of the Public-Private Partnership project “Rehabilitation, Improvement and Maintenance by Performance Standards of the East Pan-American Highway” issued a new report today.
During the comprehensive verification process of the authenticity, veracity, accuracy and coherence of the information provided by the participants, some of the proponents made observations within the stipulated time to the first report issued by the Evaluation Commission on October 18, 2022.
Because of this, the MOP requested a new evaluation, which resulted in the final report that was published on November 21.
Said report contains the list of qualified proposals that met the requirements established for prequalification.
This means that the companies on the list are the only ones authorized to participate in the tender.
The prequalification stage of this tender required that the interested parties present all the documents and evidence of technical experience and investment in order to bid for the project.
The work will have a length of 246.2 kilometers and goes from Las Garzas in East Panama to the city of Yaviza in the province of Darién.
