Santo Domingo.- The National Directorate for Drug Control (DNCD) and members of the Public Ministry arrested two men, in the same number of raids, carried out in the province of La Altagracia, where they seized weapons, ammunition, money and several vehicles.
The first raid was on a farm belonging to the Otra Banda, where they arrested a man and seized a shotgun, winchester brand 12 mm caliber, with nine cartridges, without any type of documentation, a vacuum sealing machine, a cowboy, a mold to compact kilos, bladed weapons and 190 capsules for pistols and nine cartridges for 12-gauge shotguns.
In another raid on a house located on Higuanama street, number 78 in the municipality of Higuey, where another man was arrested and several weapons were seized without any type of documentation, including a Prieto Beretta brand pistol with two chargers, a pistol FM-Herstal brand, with a charger, a special 38 caliber revolver, a shotgun brand Maverick, with 13 cartridges and a cannon for it.

Also confiscated were 516 nine-millimeter caliber cartridges, 107 shells for 5.7 pistols, 44 38-caliber capsules, a shotgun magazine, and 67 12-gauge cartridges.
In the main room of the residence, he took care, in one of the drawers of the night table, two thousand US $2,583.00, US dollars, several cell phones, a tablet, a knife and another five thousand US $5,000.00 dollars in the main closet.
The DNCD and the Public Ministry also retained the Lexus jeepetas, model GX-470, a Changan, model CS55, White color and a Yamaha motorcycle.
The detainees were handed over to the Public Ministry of the Altagracia jurisdiction for the corresponding purposes, while the investigative agencies of the DNCD deepen their investigations in relation to the case.
