Transport strike on the first day was blocked at various points in the Junín region

Despite the fact that in the morning the pass was normal, after noon heavy load carriers blocked the pass in Mito (Concepción) and kilometer 78 of the central highway, Puente Stuart (Jauja), in both places there was no pass . Police personnel from the Jauja police station and the Huancayo Special Services Unit (USE) arrived to talk with the protesters. The prosecutor on duty Liz Santos also participated in said dialogue, after which they agreed to release the road at 5:00 p.m. late, but only for public transport vehicles, not cargo trucks.

Protesters used heavy machinery to place clearing on the same road. In another section, vehicles were abandoned in the middle of the track to completely close the pass. The most affected were the passengers who had to get off the units and walk to transfer. Women with children on their backs and suitcases walked from Ullusca to the entrance of Huaripampa, about 2 to 3 kilometers.
