From the National Assembly (AN), the deputy Julio Chávez, presented in the first discussion the Reform Project of the Organic Law of People’s Power.
In this sense, Chávez affirmed: “We are going to take steps based on building a system of a law that unifies cohesion and the construction of People’s Power, because that in essence was said by President Nicolás Maduro, is the secret weapon and It is what will make the difference in the year 2023, when the people claim and deepen the construction of more Popular Power to deepen the exercise of participatory and protagonist democracy, which will mean more socialism for Venezuela.”
Likewise, the deputies of the AN, represent the people and must advance in the simplification of the concepts and procedures that will unify the conceptualizations, the values and principles that are repeated between one law and another of the People’s Power.
For her part, the deputy Blanca Eekhout, specified that “in the Constitution it is included as a fundamental principle that sovereignty in the people and is non-transferable.”
“The project has been built together with the people with the people and from the people, who together have formed the force of Popular Power and participatory and protagonist democracy through voting,” he said.
The Reform Project of the Organic Law of People’s Power was approved in the first discussion by the deputies of the National Assembly with the usual sign.
