Repealing the intervention guide in cases of sexual abuse, suspending the agreement with the European Union and changing the MEC authorities are the requests of a group of parents. The state portfolio explains the scope and consequences of complying with these requirements.
The Vice Minister of Worship, Zulma Morales, spoke about the demands presented by the protesters yesterday Tuesday, against the Educational Transformation plan.
As a first point they demand the repeal of the intervention guide in cases of sexual abuse, valid since 2015.
“They say that this guide goes beyond the resolution that talks about the prohibition of materials with gender ideology, but this is not a guide for pedagogical use with students, it is rather palliative, It is used only in case of violation of rights”, explained the vice minister in an interview with radio Universo 970 AM – Nación Media.

Regarding the points in question, Morales indicated that The material refers to the concept of family and defines the term as a group of people who live in the same place for a long period of time, whether or not they are related by blood.

“Talk about the right to comprehensive sexual education, that starts from birth, but that does not imply gender ideology, what we teach is in relation to biological design”, he explained.
The second request is the repeal of the agreement with the European Union. Here they question whether the NGOs receive monetary contributions and donations. The fund is 86 million dollars, of which 21 million are delivered to the MEC.
The state portfolio allocates the money to the financing of school kits, food and infrastructure. If this agreement is repealed, next year 1,900,000 dishes are left without sustenance.
As a third point they request the dismissal or departure of the current Minister of Education, Nicolás Zárate and his team, for supporting the Educational Transformation.
