From this Tuesday and for three days, 45 Colombian businessmen will be in Venezuela as part of an exploratory mission in search of observing business opportunities and increase trade with the neighboring country, after the reopening of borders.

Merchants and businessmen from the sectors of the retail and food industry; inputs for construction, tourism, logistics and vehicles and auto parts, among others.
This group was convened by Fenalco and is led by its president Jaime Alberto Cabal.
“We have prepared an intense agenda convinced that this is the restart of a fruitful relationship, which will materialize in business opportunities for both parties. Organized merchants hope to contribute 40% to 50% of the business between the two countries during the year 2023; figure that can reach 800 million dollars”, stated Cabal Sanclemente.

The agenda includes meetings with Fedecámaras, the National Association of Supermarkets and Supermarkets, ANSA; the Chamber of Colombian-Venezuelan Economic Integration, Cavecol; the National Council for Investment Promotion – Conapri; the Venezuelan Chamber of the Food Industry – Cavidea and of course one-on-one meetings with important Venezuelan businessmen.
