A hitman shot and killed a transport businesswoman when she was serving in front of her office located in a bus terminal in Tarapoto. A security camera recorded the crime.
It happened in the terrestrial terminal of the district of La Banda de Shilcayo. The victim was identified as Lizet Saldaña Grandez (36).
According to images from a security camera, the hitman appears behind his target and shoots him in the back. Lizet Saldaña runs but the assassin shot her again and again.
The woman fell to the ground and died instantly. A total of five bullets impacted different parts of her body. Two passersby witnessed the crime.
It was reported that Saldaña owned a transport company that covers the Barranquita – Pelejo route, in the San Martín region. Relatives affirmed that the businesswoman never received death threats.
The hitman acted together with another subject who was waiting for him on a motorcycle outside the bus terminal. The Police investigate the case.
