The Knowledge Economy Secretariat reported that “more than 76,500 people signed up to be trained in programming in the first hours of the new call for Argentina Program 4.0, with the aim of facilitating the job placement in the software industry of more than 70,000 people by 2023.
In addition to the reported inscriptions, there have been attended more than 8,500 queries in the chatbot of Argentina Program 4.0 between the opening of the call at 12 and 18 on Tuesday, November 22.
“Argentina Program 4.0 is an ambitious government initiative that covers different programming languages and topics, thanks to the support of the main universities in the country, so that more people can access and learn to program with the aim of generating quality work that impacts positively in the development of a more egalitarian Argentina”, said Secretary Ariel Sujarchuk.
This edition offers various programming and testing courses for those who know 250 thousand vacancies opened to those who obtain a score equal to or greater than 6 in the entrance examination.
Those who do not reach the minimum score may choose other courses within the options of “basic digital skills”to acquire the knowledge that will allow them to advance in their project of becoming programmers.
All courses will be dictated through platforms provided by the 40 Academic Units who participate in the program.
This first call period corresponds to a registration calendar that will run through 2023in such a way that the largest number of students can sign up for the different courses offered according to the schedules that will be reported through the institutional channels.
