The President of the Council of Ministers, Hannibal Torresaffirmed that the confrontations between the Government and the Congressas well as promoting a dialogue “without intermediaries”.
“For once we have to put an end to this confrontation between the Executive and Legislative powers because that hurts our society, it hurts those most in need. Due to the confrontations we cannot advance in the narrowing of the social gaps, I ask the Executive and Legislative to sit face to face at a table without intermediaries to talk”he asserted from Arequipa this Tuesday.

“We have cerebral intelligence, let’s not get carried away by emotional intelligence, and without the need for intermediaries we will agree to get the country out of the situation it is in.”he added.

His statements are given in the framework of the visit made by a mission of the Organization of American States (OAS) to Peru at the request of the Government to assess the situation of political crisis.
