Santo Domingo.- The National Directorate for Drug Control (DNCD), with the support of the Specialized Airport Security Corps and members of the Public Ministry, are investigating the discovery of 67 packages of dope synthetic at the International Airport of the Americas, JFPG.
The DNCD agents and military personnel were carrying out inspection work in the arrival area of the terminal, when they found two suitcases, immediately initiating the action protocol for these cases.
In the presence of a deputy prosecutor, the luggage was opened, finding in the suitcases, the amount of 67 packages of the vegetable wrapped in black, transparent and green covers.

The Public Prosecutor’s Office and the DNCD are deepening their investigations in relation to this case and hope to provide more details as the investigations progress.
The 67 packages turned out to be marijuana and had a total weight of 70.8 pounds, as determined in its analysis by the National Institute of Forensic Sciences (INACIF).
