While 19 indicators, equivalent to 8%, presented adequate progress over the six-year goal.
The lags in the indicators can be explained, above all, by the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, the organization explained in the document “How are we going in the middle of the administration: analysis of the progress and fulfillment of the objectives and indicators of the social field programs derived from the (National Development Program) PND 2019-2024”.
“The pandemic made visible the lack of flexibility and action mechanisms that dependencies have in the face of external factors to make adjustments to their strategic planning,” said Coneval.
Regarding the goals established for the middle of the six-year term, 35% of the indicators reached their objective, and 16% present an achievement above what was expected.
However, Coneval warns, this can be associated with the fact that the indicators set unrealistic or challenging goals.
In addition, 11% of the indicators did not reach their established goal and 38% did not even reach the reference value from which they start, the report shows.
