Plaster from the ceiling of the IPS oncology room fell on the patients

Rigoberto Cabañas one of the patients confirmed to Universo 970 radio that part of the roof of the sixth floor of the IPS Central came off and fell on them this afternoon.

Several patients who were in the room, apart from the great scare they received, suffered injuries when part of the plaster fell. At first it was believed that the event was more serious, fortunately the case did not go beyond being a great scare.

The unfortunate situation in which some IPS wards find themselves was the target of criticism from patients and relatives who took advantage of the accident to complain about the precariousness of which they are targeted daily. Some pointed out that now even the roof is coming down on themLikewise, on social networks, there were many criticisms due to the lack of respect shown to the insured.

From the IPS they indicated that the event was due to the fact that that part of the plaster was already quite deteriorated and with the vibrations from the floor above it came off, but they indicated that there were no serious victims, trying to minimize the event.
