Before the arrival of the special delegation of the Organization of American States (OAS) to Peru to analyze the current political situation, the journalist Cesar Hildebrandt He pointed out that the Executive would adopt the strategy of victimizing itself.
“We do not know what the government representatives have said in front of the OAS mission, but we suspect that they have given their version of victims, unilateral and not very credible, of ‘they harass us’. Yes, they harass them, but nobody would harass if you, gentlemen of the Government, were not incompetent, chronic, inept 24 hours a day and if they had not tolerated the corruption that has been proven to exist,” he asserted in the latest edition of his podcast.
He also stated that the same members of the Government —including the President Pedro Castillo— are the ones who have given rise to the accusations against them, since they allowed questionable acts and corruption during their administration.
“If they did not have ex-ministers and fugitive nephews, family members involved in a thousand dirty tricks, all this would be a political impulse, but this has become a judicial-police-fiscal episode thanks to you, Mr. Castillo and your cronies from Sarratea,” he added.
In this sense, Hildebrandt recalled that Congress has not lagged behind in terms of questions, which is why he ensures that the performance of both the Executive and the Legislative has not been optimal, especially due to the current crisis.
“The OAS will finally realize something fundamental: the worst Congress in recent years wants to kick out the worst government in recent years. And in between, the people and the economic crisis that is beginning to gallop. It is true that it is a global crisis, but it is also true that in Peru the gallop becomes faster and more consistent, ”he asserted.
The Resistance attacked the OAS
On Sunday the 20th, when the OAS High Level Group arrived on Peruvian soil, members of The Resistance reached the outskirts of the hotel where they were staying to demand and demand speed in the investigations against Pedro Castillo.
César Hildebrandt criticized the fact that the group linked to Fujimorismo attacked the delegation, since the performance of Congress —which, according to him, is dominated by Fuerza Popular— has not been the best.
“The OAS has also been a victim of The resistancethat is to say, the street Fujimori underworld that has been in the streets in its minimum expression —they are very few, but they shout a lot. On Sunday they began to yell at the OAS people in the hotel where he was staying, pressing and demanding speed with Castillo; not for Congress, which they dominate, ”he assured.
