The Constitutional Court (TC) met this Monday, November 21, with the High Level Group of the Organization of American States (OAS) to talk about the Magna Carta model in our country, in the midst of the political crisis.
Through its social networks, the agency reported on this meeting and detailed that all the magistrates participated on the side of the TC. In addition, he pointed out that the dialogue took place at the institution’s main headquarters, in the district of San Isidro.
“To discuss the constitutional model in Peru, the Plenary of the Constitutional Court met with the OAS High Level Group” wrote the Constitutional Court on its Twitter account.

“On behalf of the TC, President Francisco Morales and magistrates Luz Pacheco, Gustavo Gutiérrez, Helder Domínguez, Manuel Monteagudo and César Ochoa participated. The meeting took place at the headquarters of the Constitutional Court in San Isidro”, he added.
OAS Mission
The visit of the OAS mission takes place after the request of the government of Pedro Castillo to activate the Inter-American Democratic Charter by alleging that the constitutional complaint filed by the National Prosecutor’s Office against him represented a “threat to democracy.”
The working group also met this Monday with the president of the Judiciary, Elvia Barrioswith the head of the Congress, Joseph Williamsand the head of state. During the afternoon, he also held a dialogue with the National Prosecutor, Patricia Benavides.
