In order to deal with inflation, which has affected Colombians so much, the Minister of Treasury, Jose Antonio Ocampo, announced that he is preparing a decree, in order to get some services and products of the family basket.

Thus, some products of the family basket would not raise the percentage of the minimum wage or inflation.

The measure seeks to mitigate the increase in the cost of living that has been registered so far in 2022, especially in the market that Colombian households do.

Precisely, the newspaper Portafolio projects that some of the products and services that would not have the increase in 2023 would be the SOAT fees, the coverages in the Health services for traffic accidents, registration tax and various imported products.

It should be remembered that next November 30 Government spokesmen, businessmen and unions will sit at the negotiating table to establish the percentage that will raise the minimum wage in Colombia.
