The Minister of Labour, Alejandro Salasreferred to the meeting held by the President Pedro Castillo with the members of the special group of the Organization of American States (OAS) who arrived in Peru last Sunday to assess the political situation in the country.
According to Salas Zegarra, the message from the head of state revolved around a request for unity and consensus to cope with the problems that Peru is going through and thus manage to get out of the crisis.
“During the meeting that we held in the morning with the mission of the Organization of American States (OAS) that visits Peru, President Pedro Castillo has only asked for unity, dialogue, consensus and rapprochement to move forward with the problems that the country has ”, he told the press during his participation in the ceremony for the installation of the million and a half natural gas connection in Lima and Callao.
As is known, the president and the cabinet of ministers met on Monday, November 21, at the Government Palace facilities with the High Level Group of the OAS Permanent Council. The working days will be extended until Tuesday the 22nd, when the special team will meet with other state institutions.
