According to the Senior Prosecutor for Primary Care, Julio Villarreal, carrying out this test could take several days, since it must be carried out on each floor, and this takes time.
He stressed that with this test they seek to determine if there is a leak in the gas conduction area of the building and despite the fact that this is not decisive, it must be carried out to clarify the cause of the explosion.
He added that during the test several apartment owners were authorized to enter their homes and be able to remove their belongings. The building still remains uninhabited until the investigations are completed and it is certified that it is safe to return to the property.
