The new selector Venezuela, Joseph Pekerman, published this Friday his first call for matches against bolivia Y Uruguay, in which goalkeeper Wuilker Fariñez follows and midfielder Yeferson Soteldo reappears.
Also on the list are Tomás Rincón, from UC Sampdoria in Italy; Salomón Rondón, from Everton FC in England and Josef Martínez, from United in the USA, detailed the Venezuelan Football Federation (FVF), in a publication on their Twitter account.
These summoned were not in the list of pre-selected that the technical director presented last Monday, when he began his first training sessions at the head of the Vinotinto in front of a group of 21 players.
Pekerman and his coaching staff started training at the National High Performance Center located on the island of Margarita, in the middle of the Caribbean Sea, the FVF detailed in a statement.
Venezuela will play Bolivia on January 28 at the Agustín Tovar stadium in the Venezuelan state of Barinas. Later, he will visit Uruguay on February 1. Currently, they are in tenth position in the South American qualifiers for Qatar 2022 thanks to one win, one draw and four losses.
