Venezuela and India deepen bilateral cooperation relations

The People’s Power Minister for Foreign Relations, Carlos Faría, held a meeting on Monday with his Indian counterpart, Saurabh Kumar, to strengthen cooperation relations between the two nations.

The information was provided by Foreign Minister Faría in his account on the social network Twitter, @Fariacrt. “With the aim of continuing to strengthen cooperation relations between Venezuela and India, we held a fruitful working meeting with Shri Saurabh Kumar, Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.”

Venezuela and India have more than 60 years of bilateral relations, which have been strengthened thanks to the trade integration policies promoted by the Bolivarian Revolution, which have allowed the establishment of cooperation ties in energy, health, agriculture , air transport and culture.

It should be noted that both authorities met on September 24, 2022, regarding the United Nations General Assembly held in New York. During the meeting they exchanged views on the global political and economic scenarios.
