President-elect Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva was admitted yesterday (20) to the Hospital Sírio-Libanês, in São Paulo, to undergo a laryngoscopy to remove leukoplakia from the left vocal fold, an injury to the larynx. The procedure showed no neoplasia (cancer).
Lula was discharged this Monday (21), at 7:45 am, and was accompanied by the medical teams coordinated by specialists Roberto Kalil Filho, Artur Katz, Rubens Brito, Rui Imamura and Luiz Paulo Kowalski.
