Governors of the Pacific promote the Mar de Cortés strategy with 21 projects

Of these five states, three of them, Sonora, Baja California and Baja California Sur, are in places 5, 6 and 9 of the Top 10 entities with the greatest contribution to the country’s GDP and the objective is for these three states to promote with regional strategies to the other two, Sinaloa and Nayarit, which are in places 17 and 25, respectively.

On the subject, the secretary Celida Lopezexplains that one of the issues that the five governors of Morenista extraction have addressed is that of cruise ships and mini-cruises, where they have already promised to modernize the infrastructure in the five entities.

“The governors are committed to modernizing certain ports thinking about the cruise industry, but also about merchandise, and that is where the alliance comes in as a whole, it is not only tourism, it is also the economy and security,” details in an interview within the framework of the Mar de Cortés Summit Mission Prosperity Forum.

The five Morenista governors of the Sea of ​​Cortez arrived at their posts in the second half of 2021; the group is made up of Pilar Marinain Baja California; Victor Manuel Castroin Baja California Sur; Ruben RochaIn Sinaloa, Alfonso Durazoin Sonora, and Miguel Angel Navarroin Nayarit.

1. Railway “Tecate-El Sauzal” (Tecate-Ensenada).

BAJA CALIFORNIA SOUTH

6. Modernization La Paz-Ciudad Insurgentes.
7. Modernization of the Port of Pichilingue.
8. Pueblo Marinero Master Plan and Modernization of the Cruise Dock and Maintenance of the Multi-Use Dock in Puerto San Carlos, Comondú.

NAYARIT
9. Expansion and internationalization of the Tepic Amado Nervo airport.
10. Construction of the San Blas tourist pier.
