Although Fospuca Caroní assured that he would not charge more than eight dollars for the residential urban cleaning service, the decree issued by the Mayor’s Office of Caroní establishes rates from 0.25 to 24 dollars

Through a public statement, Fospuca Caroní reported that there are only four rates applicable to residences located in the Caroní municipality previously agreed with the Mayor’s Office and Municipal Treasury. These depend on the location of the houses.

The amounts are: 0.25, two, five and eight dollars equivalent to the amount in bolivars at the rate of the Central Bank of Venezuela. The service will begin to be billed from December 1st.
These rates differ from those established by the Mayor’s Office according to the decree published this week, but which has been signed since October 30.

Rates according to the Mayor’s Office without Fospuca
Residential rates -expressed in petros (PTR)- oscillate between 0.25 dollars and 24.6 dollars depending on the parish and the sector.
The decree specifies that the residential routes contemplated in the communal modality of the parishes of Dalla Costa, Vista al Sol and 11 de Abril are excluded from the payment of the service, with the possibility of this being extended to other parishes, as considered by the municipality.
Correo del Caroní made a compilation of the residential rates established by the Mayor’s Office, and anchored them to the price of the petro in dollars updated until Friday, November 18:
Urbanisms located in the Chirica parish must pay 0.25 dollars (0.0042 PTR) and 1.98 dollars (0.033 PTR), depending on the area.
In the Dalla Costa parish they will have to pay 0.25 dollars (0.0042 PTR), 1.98 dollars (0.033 PTR) and 6.0 dollars (0.10 PTR), depending on the area.
Neighborhoods of the Pozo Verde, Vista al Sol, Yocoima and 5 de Julio parishes will cancel 0.25 dollars (0.0042 PTR).
The communities of the Unare parish will pay 0.25 dollars (0.0042 PTR), 1.98 dollars (0.033 PTR), 7.8 dollars (0.13 PTR) and 24.6 dollars (0.41 PTR) depending on the area, the highest figure corresponds only to the Loma Linda sector.
In the Simón Bolívar parish they will cancel 1.98 dollars (0.033 PTR) and 6.0 dollars (0.10 PTR), depending on the area.
In the University parish they will pay 1.98 dollars (0.033 PTR), 6.0 dollars (0.10 PTR), 7.8 dollars (0.13 PTR) and 24.6 dollars (0.41 PTR), depending on the area.
Fospuca began operations in Ciudad Guayana with 37 collection routes, 53 compaction and cleaning machines, and 800 workers.
