The absence of the exercise and application of political science and the responsible debate of the benches, has been transformed into a virtual, or perhaps real, staged legislature. Especially, we emphasize, by the neoliberal benches.
The opposition that, according to the evidence, is now the representation of the decomposition of the parties of the contradiction. The distortion of reality is part of that formula: staging a script that contradicts what people are experiencing and observing. Denying the positive results of the government in power.
The unified bench led by PAN members demonstrates a way of trying to exercise power. Exercise that is not based on any ideology, since neoliberalism itself is not based on any.
What their legislators do is an insane way of trying to discredit, from their seats, their main enemy: the President of the Republic.
The participation of colluding or opposition parties leaves much to be desired, since their speeches are designed as a script, since they have no projects to defend – only slogans to replicate – therefore, there is no political debate or search for solutions, actions that have been support and justification of the Legislative Power.
With the participation of the four right-wing parties that we have seen and heard so far, it is clear to us that they have no idea what politics is, how it is applied and what it is for. Decisions are taken to the level of competition, to see who wins and who loses in saying the script without choking, without overreacting and without biting their tongues.
They disregard their obligation to the citizenry that gave them the vote. They are consciously omitting the commitment to which they swore. Therefore, the crime is worse, it is triple: they receive a salary for harming the nation, for betraying a sector of the people of Mexico and for obstructing the transformation of the country.
At this point, those who claim to belong to a party, but who act as the jokers or jokers in poker, as appropriate to their purely economic and pseudo-political interests. And, to achieve this, they have to lie, with such impunity and cynicism that they fall into obscenity.
The importance of occupying a seat, that political space, is an incomparable opportunity, it is the tangible possibility of transforming the negative into a positive in favor of millions of people. Here, in this place, the value of the vote is raised to the n power, since the social cost of maintaining it has been very high. So that makes it invaluable.
What is least thought of is that in Congress decisions are made as a group, despite the diversity of political parties. That is why we must insist that democracy does not end with voting at the ballot box, it continues in Congress.
Regarding financing, it is valid to insist on the search for the best budget for political institutes and to cover party projects. But that is not the priority point. The budget adjustment is applied to all benches. Getting bogged down in that point is wasting time to present the agendas and achieve legislative objectives.
Perhaps this is the nodal point for legislative achievements, where the parties reach a relationship of power, be it between individuals or in parliamentary groups, as they fight for political status and for financing to fully exercise their projects, if that is the case. present some.
When each legislator speaks, he is the spokesperson for thousands of people, so it is not credible that, in the case of the right, those voices are all aimed at imposing easily refutable lies, instead of defending their political position and proposing solutions. to vital problems with his own methodology.
It is in this absence of political exercise by the parties, more of a collision than of opposition, where the neoliberal dramaturgy to which they resort is evident. That is why they have reached the point of clutter in all their interventions and they have no other option than to dramatize them.
By the way, the scripts that circulate in the seats of the parties opposed to the President can be used without problem by any member of the so-called democracy advocacy coalition
; PAN, PRI, PRD or MC.
A plain example of staged lies is the claim that the true and only left in Mexico is the PRD. This is how Marcelino Castañeda Navarrete, a federal deputy, declared it during a speech in the Chamber of Deputies. And, as an intervention in favor of the Morena party, the deputy Carlos Alberto Manzo Rodríguez affirms that President Andrés Manuel López Obrador is a democrat and a socialist, which annoys the right-wing benches to the point of tantrum.

The lefts exist and are looking for coincidences that lead to building a path endorsed by updated, revitalized politics, and adapted to the new circumstances. Experience, ideology and their own history are values that have formed a wealth of great importance for present and future generations of militants, not only on the left.
