The PRI is a reliable ally, Alito emphasizes to PAN and PRD

The national leader of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), Alejandro Moreno Cárdenas, maintained that the PRI members nothing and no one is going to subdue us and therefore the legislators will vote against the electoral reform of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, since We will never support an initiative that seeks to weaken, undermine or disappear the electoral institutions.

By installing yesterday the eighth National Political Council (CPN) and the Permanent Political Commission, alito Moreno sent a message to the PAN and PRD, who have demanded definitions, stressing that the tricolor is a reliable, firm and consistent ally, promoter of alliances.

It is more than evident that the Va por México coalition has already produced results, had it failed, today there would no longer be institutions or the rule of lawhighlighted in that meeting, held at the PRI headquarters, which was attended by former presidents of the tricolor, such as Beatriz Paredes and Humberto Roque Villanueva; the governors of Oaxaca and the state of Mexico, Alejandro Murat and Alfredo del Mazo, and the elected president of Durango, Esteban Villegas Villarreal.

Moreno also expressed absolute support for the National Electoral Institute (INE) and for the Electoral Tribunal of the Federal Judiciary (TEPJF). In the PRI, he stressed, they have an ally.

assured that today we have the encouragement of knowing that the path adopted in favor of the Va por México alliance is the correct one, but we still need to fight new battles, which are to clearly and forcefully win the elections in the state of Mexico and in Coahuila in 2023, as well as in the 2024 presidential.

In his speech, he recognized the PRI, PAN and PRD militants, for putting aside the atavistic differences and preparing to fight together for a greater good called Mexico, and to defend democracy for our country.

Accompanied by Carolina Viggiano, general secretary of the CEN, and Pablo Angulo, who was elected technical secretary of the CPN, the national leader insisted that Va por México contributed significantly to wrest the qualified majority from the President’s partywhich some of the current vociferous inmates turned him in three years earlier.

In this sense, Moreno maintained that he is willing to dialogue within the party with those who do not agree with the leadership of the PRI, but made it clear that he does not accept that a demand for dialogue be raised from slander or disqualification, which ignores the effort we make in the midst of serious obstacles.
