During the morning of this Friday, a structural fire affected a house on the Cordillera de Valparaíso hill.
So far, there have been nine victims and a 28-year-old man at risk of life, who is admitted to the Carlos Van Buren Hospital and would be a resident of the affected property, according to Bio Bio Radio from Valparaiso.
It is estimated that the incident began around 07:30 a.m., in a three-story house located on Socrates street with Purcell.
The sector where the fire occurred is classified as a historical conservation area, so five fire units mobilized to the place and worked to cause as little damage as possible to the structure.
Chilquinta personnel, municipal workers and SAMU also went to the place.
It was the third floor of the house where the incident occurred. Because the house directly adjoins other properties, the residents of the area had to evacuate from the sector.
