Santo Domingo.- The National Police (NP) reported through a statement that the other two young women involved in the attempted assault on a taxi driver were arrested, in an event that occurred in Villa Mella, Santo Domingo Norte.
The 16-year-old girls identified as aliases “Charlín” and “la flaca” were arrested by members of the Central Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DICRIM) through a judicial order after the complaint made by Jesús Polanco Morel, who identified them as the people who, while working as a taxi driver, sprayed him with gas in the face and stripped him of his belongings.
According to the police report, “Charlin” and “la Flaca” were arrested in Los Guaricanos, Santo Domingo Norte and Las Cañitas, National District, respectively.
They are currently detained in the Villa Mella police detachment known as “Fugitive” and it is expected that this afternoon they will be presented to the Public Ministry.

It is recalled that this Thursday afternoon the PN arrested the third young woman who was aboard the taxi at the time of the incident.
