They arrested three women with 183 cocaine finger cots

Three women from Colombia were detained in Táchira where they seized 183 cocaine finger cots, according to military sources.

At the Simón Bolívar International Bridge, San Antonio del Táchira, on the border between Venezuela and Colombia, members of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) detained Yenifer Naileth Toloza Arenales, who was moving as a pedestrian.

Toloza Arenales was approached by the military, before whom she admitted that she was wearing intraorganic finger cots. She then assisted her and she expelled the sum of 100 finger cots which totaled 945 grams of cocaine.

At the checkpoint next to the aforementioned International Bridge, located in Peracal, the military detained Aura Vanesa Fuentes Simancas, also from Colombia and bound for San Félix (Bolívar). In her suitcases she had 55 cocaine cods (790 grams), according to the report. But the woman herself was taken to a clinic where she was detected another portion of finger cots whose expulsion process continued its course.

Another anti-drug procedure was carried out at the Citizen Service Point located in La Pedrera, entrance to San Cristóbal (Táchira). There they checked a public transport vehicle that came from Guasdualito (Apure) bound for Caracas. During the review, the military detained Daineris Teresa Blanco, who later expelled 28 cocaine cods that totaled 520 grams.

And at the Copa de Oro checkpoint, located in the La Mulata sector, Pedro María Ureña municipality (Táchira), officials from GNB Detachment 212 seized five panels of cocaine (6 kilos 350 grams) that they carried in a Ford F-350, license plates A26BH1M.

After making the discovery, the troops detained the driver of the vehicle, identified as Manuel Leovigildo Pereira Reyes, who came from Colombia and was heading towards San Cristóbal (Táchira), according to the military report.

The detainees were handed over to the Public Ministry where proceedings for illicit drug trafficking were opened.
