According to one Press release of the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry, Faría and Soltani also discussed issues and points of view related to the strengthening of relations in the economic, health, science and culture fields.
The representatives of the delegations of Iran and Venezuela, which make up the High Level Mixed Commission between both countries, signed the tuesday november 15 in Tehran six memorandums of understanding in various areas such as educational training, nanotechnology, biotechnology, petrochemicals, probiotics, dosimetry, radiology, fiber optics, social data analysis and design of scientific-technological systems in order to promote joint projects on these issues.
Gabriela Jiménez, Minister of Science and Technology, indicated that these agreements signed with Iran seek, in addition to supporting joint projects and continuing the September events in Caracas when more than 60 agreements were signed within the framework of the Scientific-Technological Expo, to promote the transfer of knowledge, technical exchange and the possibility of an exchange of personnel between both countries.
