On Wednesday, a UTE delegation, headed by President Silvia Emaldi, received the award at the 2022 Senior Executives Meeting (RAE), organized by the Paraguayan National Committee of CIER – PACIER and held at the CONMEBOL Convention Center – Bourbon Asunción – Convention Hotel, in the city of Asunción (Paraguay). President Emaldi was accompanied by director Fernanda Cardona, general manager Javier San Cristóbal, operating director Luis García, managers Pablo Mosto and Viviana Medina, and advisor Silvia Moreira. Also CIER Innovation Awards were received again, in relation to the projects presented for topics of technological vanguard and decarbonization. President Silvia Emaldi, referring to the awards received, stressed “This is a recognition that undoubtedly fills us with pride and highlights the work of UTE and its staff, which stands out throughout Latin America and the Caribbean”.
The award comes from Annual Electricity Customer Satisfaction Surveycarried out independently by CIER, in which the Uruguayan state electricity company was the best evaluated by its customers, for the second consecutive year, standing out among 35 electrical companies representing 12 countries of Latin America and the Caribbean. The Index considered as the basis for awarding the Gold Award is the one that measures Satisfaction with Perceived Quality and the winning company is chosen as a benchmark in Benchmarking actions of its business model and good management practices that other companies can take advantage of.
UTE, which has participated continuously since 2002, has been recognized with the CIER Gold Award in the years 2019, 2021 and 2022 and with him Silver Award in 2020achievements that undoubtedly highlight the company and also Uruguay as international benchmarks.
