MADRID, Spain.- A new hotel will be built on Santa María del Mar beach, east of Havana. The five-star category facility will have some 750 rooms and will be ready in about four years.

“It will be a hotel under the concepts of sustainable development, which will greatly contribute to the diversification of the offer for which the Gran Caribe and Cuba are committed for the coming years,” he said in this regard.
Machado, quoted by the official media, said that due to its proximity to the Cuban capital “it is already emerging as an advantageous option to support the events and congresses that are held every year in western Cuba.”
